Woke up to a text this am that our brother CalzoneGolem fell off a ladder and broke his back in 2 places. He is not paralyzed, but I guess it was pretty close to being that, and they made him some sort of bionic man or something. I am not sure if he has access to the interwebs but lets show him some love and post ALL the rods today. Tag posts with calzonegolemday and when I show up to sneak him in a Guinness at the hospital I will make sure he sees it.

Sounds rough. If you are [eventually] reading this calzone be sure to hit up VicariousILive about it. He broke his back and neck on a ride with me a 3 years ago, then rode the rest of the way down the mountain and got all braced up a few days before they adopted their first child. it was rough. anyway, he's probably got some good recovery tips. Speedy recovery Calzone, here's hoping for the best!
